Nurse Practitioner & Founder
Inty Allen is a bilingual, board-certified nurse practitioner born in Nicaragua and raised in Arizona. Through her extensive experience working in internal medicine, where many of her patients were struggling with psychiatric concerns, Inty developed a special interest in mental health. After experiencing postpartum depression firsthand, she focused on postpartum depression and anxiety, obtaining continued education through the internationally recognized Postpartum Support International organization.
Inty decided to open Agave Postpartum Wellness Clinic in hopes to raise awareness and provide medical support, screening and treatment to people suffering from postpartum depression and anxiety.
Inty attended Arizona State University for her undergraduate degree in nursing and Northern Arizona University for her graduate nursing degree. She has trained and worked at Arizona State University, Abrazo Health, Mayo Clinic, Southwest Human Development and in private practice. She was accepted into the Abdominal Organ Transplant Fellowship at Mayo Clinic and has given extra mural presentations on Teledermatology Implementation and Implications at Mayo Clinic and the National Dermatology Nurses Association.
